I need a list … I need a desk project … I need a sofa project … I need to get myself and my days into some sort of organised routine rather than the “it’s late must get that done” apathy I have slipped into. I like having a project, I like the feeling of getting it done and crossing it off and forgetting all about it. But as a housebound cripple these things quickly become time fillers, and the momentum is lost.
So ….. The reminder app on the old iPad has been press ganged into action.
- Re-catalogue Mac/pad photos
- Back ups, time machine + general folders
- Web work list, review all pages
- Web work, rework all video pages
- Finish the crochet shawl
- Declutter desk draws thoroughly
- Declutter bedside draw
- Make BFF stay jobs list
- Bra shopping *shudder*
Right then, that is the grand plan for the next nine weeks.
Wonder what my reward should be … Hmm …

I like your list: de-cluttering desk drawers is a very good one; procrastination is nice isn’t it 🙂
I find that I am getting to the stage when I may have to de-clutter the reminder app to make repopulating it tidier for a bit.
cataloguing and sorting photos is a big one to think about doing. It’s one I should get to grips with too.
What is ‘BFF’ ?
My Time Machine is always attached. It does its own thing when the computer is on. I do have two other external HD’s though. One is for all my photo originals, good,bad or indifferent; they’re my negatives. The other is a drive on which I update my system and create a bootable copy, should the worst occur, as it once did, (a story and a half at least). This backup is the one I have to remember to deal with.As I have partitioned the external HD it does a few other things, like keep a previous, as well as a current platform, should something (peripheral) clash, not work etc. with an update.

BFF = Best Friend Forever, she has some jobs she can ‘help’ me with when she comes to stay.
I time machine from time to time, just incase things go *poof* and I have an external hard drive where I keep back up of documents and photos and I have two thumb drives each to keep back up of the websites I edit.
Of course it goes without remarking that likely only two of these tasks will get done, more maybe started and progress made but not done to tick off. Knickerbockerglory, I don’t like ice cream or cold things, but I’ll fight ya for a steak bake :p
