Just a usual run of the mill mad day

It never was going to be a successful day, having failed to gain entry to the land of nod by 3.30, with my hands and feet still feeling like ice blocks and my turso sweating a river. Laying on my back mentally running through my morning chores (up, make coffee, switch off fridge, waddle to front room, open curtains, at desk do grocery order) which naturally detoured into ‘what not to forget to get’ with a ponderance over ‘hmm, what food to try something new with’, there was a conscious moment that felt as if a floodgate had been opened and I was intensely feeling warm blood pump through my hands and feet and stay warm! Most weird!

Ever since Tesco increased their minimum speed to £40 and since their profit plummeted off the cliff, shopping has become quite tricky as I want single portions, not great mounds. I wish my kitchen had been built 600m longer so a freezer could have fitted in.  The fridge is defrosting, I think the flap to the freezer bit was ajar slightly and it iced up the fridge and the bottom of the flap, either that or it is on the way out.

Crraaammmmppppp …. Brb, just going to shove my hands in the microwave to warm them up.

Trying to be productive and work a couple of photos that need editing ready to be printed out. I downloaded Big Sis & BroInLaw’s holiday snaps from their cameras, rotated the tilted ones and saved them to the memory stick. Must remember to check my photo centre account ready to get a load of snaps printed off.

The light has been in all day, Autumn has arrived and really turned the weather crapoy and grey. Might have to chuck another log on the radiator! I feel my winter grump descending and it’s going to be a long time til March. I have crochet to get started but the moment I move my hands I loose all the heat in them and they a he with cold.

I’m off to dig out my thermal gloves and docks *mumbles-grumbles-gripes*

Forgot to add that while trying to make lunch, the ring pull came off my can of beans *sigh*
