Salad eating is dangerous

12 Aug

It sits there, looking all innocent, colourful and organic. It’s refreshing crispness, matched by its wholesome flavours. Little does it warn that during the eating of, it will disguise you chomping down on your inner cheek, trapping your tongue between molars nor somehow managing to scratch your own gum!

Never have that problem with KFC, lol.

I know there was a food scare recently about salads, the advice was to make sure you wash it all first.

Of course here in Scotland salad is well known to be hazardous, eating your greens up here consists of not pulling the gherkin out of your burger.

Lol. In a previous blog I have likened salad to a bag of hedgerow clippings.

Hub is trying to lose weight and is mournfully chomping through big bowls of salad at lunchtimes these days. His opinion is that if God had wanted us to eat green stuff we would all be rabbits.
