Preparation Procrastination

Loads and loads and loads of rationalizing to do but the thing is, the things need doing.  There is a bit of a ‘do’ tomorrow afternoon that requires my dressy presence … so undies sourced [going out ones, not my umber comfy saggy baggy everyday ones – its a girl thing]; shirt should be ironed, as should the dress, thing is the only things that ironed in this house are finished cross stitch pieces, before I can attempt to lay the ironing mat out the whole kitchen needs a thorough clean, one is hoping the lightly crumpled look is in; shoes are easy I only have two pairs, footsie socks sourced and ready.  Yesterday I cleaned my jewelry [silver fastenings about Delft china discs] earrings, necklace, bracelet and broach. The handbag has the confetti and camera in, just need to remember to put my purse in.

Just me that needs a sandblasting,  I’ll tackle that in stages across the day, really must get the grinder out and deal with my toe nails, well I only have nine [no little toe end on left foot] the right little toe grows like a talon and is just as tough.

So much of this should and could have been done already … *sigh* …. oh well.

Longest day Sunday, then the nights will start drawing in and Winter has set his sat nav back towards us …….. don’t like 2014 at all, it has been complicated, jumbled, misleading and generally a grump.  

Dishes .. better go and do the dishes.
