Trolley Rage

17 Dec

We have started our battle plan.

Yesterday we zoomed off to the supermarket to do ‘shopping round #1’ …. with BroInLaw in tow and designated trolley pusher after a fortifying luncheon [they had fish and chips, I had a christmas platter] we set about shopping the ‘heavy stuff’ like the cokes and lemonade, dinner wine, evening drinks, the crisps, cheese crackers and such.  The idea being that when Sister does the grocery shop on Monday she is primarily doing the fresh stuff, as it is likely to be a nightmare in there especially as the children will be off school to clog the aisles all the more.

The cards were stamped and deposited in the box.

The whirlwind interior designer [aka Sister] set about trimming my tree and living room.

We had a strategy meeting to see what needs recording on tv while we are all together to be watched later.

Across the weekend I managed to wrap and tag the gifts and there is just the one last one to sort.

The festive earrings and headband have been dusted off.

Within a short time its beginning to look a lot like Christmas round here.

Good to hear you’re getting into the festive spirit. I hope there’s tinsel on your wheelchair
