Cold Feet

cold_feet

I am having a typical sort of day where I am comfortably warm everywhere except my feet, even with them ensconced in socks.  My feet are always the most chilled part of me so when the ambient temperature drops the temp of my feet drops further too.  I can feel the cold creeping into the bones, last night I turned on the electric blanket for an hour in hopes it would warm the cosy cavity but no, the cold seemed to overtake the warm … until the small wee hours when the hormonal power surge has me kicking the duvet off the feet to cool the down, then I return to slumber and wake to discover my feet back under the duvet and again cold.

Had something of a productive weekend, I have completed a neck warmer and am about to start another broomstick stitch scarf.  Some work has been put into the Christmas lists, although I have been slack on ideas for what I’d like.  Of course the things I have completed are not things of the to do list to be crossed off, typical.

Sister threatened to confiscate my kindle! I was choosing another two free books to take me over the next week.  I tried to protest that as the books were ‘free’ I was not actually buying something that could be on my christmas list, I added that I have books I would like to read but I’d have to pay money for them [outrageous!!].  She sort of begrudgingly agreed.

Toast … I have a craving for toast.  Hmm, can one have toast with ones hot-pot?  well I am, so there

Most of the time I don’t ntice hether my feet are hot, warm, col or cold, until winter when the ambient temps drop then I sure do feel it then.

I’m just the same – my feet can take hours to warm up even in socks and under a duvet … and yes … we are still hot, Anne Marie – it just comes in flushes now 😉 Keep warm and here’s a hug which I hope will help!

I have reached the age of female power surges. I think I a one of the rare ones who cannot wait to hit menopause and be done with the cramping, ukkiness etc.

As long as it isn’t your feet you’re toasting?

The best toast by far is toast made over an open fire!

Brrr…some folks do seem to suffer from ‘cold feet’….Could be ‘circulation-related’… Unless you can organise those ‘hormones’…:))

Hope you have a ‘warm feet’ night…..Hugs! :)x

It is most likely circulation related, that and inactivity too.
