Flowes I sow …

The flowers I sow, some how won’t grow,
I’m sorely disenchanted
Oh what luck I have with ones
I never even planted

A many of you know, I moderate on the forum for Muscular Dystrophy and I also twitter with a few peeps.  The person in charge of MDC’s twitter tweeted about someone doing a yarn bomb – it is quite a touching story.

A fellow with Duchenne has a regular blog about living life with his condition, a twitter person who enjoyed Daniel’s blog made contact and over the past years they have become close friends.  To raise funds for MDC and its on going quest in funding research she has decided to do a yarn bomb to raise awareness and then sell the items to raise funds.  I volunteered by skills and vibrant orange yarn and have made these roses which will be glued to felt backing and hve a brooch pin added.
