This year has turned into something of a reading marathon, i cannot recall ever reading so much in a consistent pattern. Yes, par of the catalyst has been the purchase of the kindle and also finding the free books on the Amazon website. It has become something of a habit to ead for a while once in bed and I have found it all rather entertaining. although the year did start wth the good old paperback pile at the side of the bed.

I read a couple of Kathy Reichs books when I was staying in Portugal. I liked one but not the other (I can’t for the life of me remember either titles though one included the word ‘bones’)

es, I recently read a very early one and was quite frustrated with it but her more recent ones have been better. prefer her to Patricia Cornwell.

Yikes, you have been going some! I like to read in bed too … preferably until the book drops out of my hands. Hub has Kindle but not me – I haven’t been converted yet and I suspect all the books I would like to read I would have to pay for 😦

I know – the number shocked me when I started listing them all. And it is not like they are quick 100 page jobs either!
It was my Sister’s idea, she twisted my arm to get a kindle and now look what’s happened 😆

I love to read. I dont have a kindle but have download a few free books on the phone but I am a diehard book . And at the moment have 4 books ready to read. I love patricia cornwell,James patterson, John grisham, james clancy, Erin Evonovich-very funny reading, And anything else i can get my hands on. Right now on my phone I am reading Riders of the PurpleSage by zane grey and Jane Eyre of course that is a reread. But while waiting it is always on my phone and they were free. I have two new books that I am on the waiting list at the library and am 65th in line. I love reading xxx

In the past I have read a couple of Jeffrey Deaver Lincoln Rimes series. I found The Bone Collector a gripping read and the film an okay adaption.
I amalso an audio book fan, got a shelf full. I friend bought me a Ngaio March one very Agatha Christie [also read all of hers too, still got them!].

I love audio books. First one I ever listened to was dean koontz Tick tock and then dragon tears. And there have been so mane to bey since. Books are my escape or they use to be
